• Please erase your work before leaving PaintChat. Remember: screen cap, erase, leave.
• Respect other peoples drawing space while using pchat.
• Ask everyone in the room before erasing canvas!
• No cursing or swearing to other members while using pchat.
• No Adult Themed Drawings
• No Full on Nudity or Sexually explicit imagery
• No graphic gore or extreme violence
• Mild nudity allowed/sexy. Not sexually suggestive.
• Mild voilence allowed (Blood + Weapons)
• No Spamming the chat or canvas

• What is Paintchat?

PaintChat is a very useful tool which allows artists to network together and collaborate, without the need for any extra costly software. This is a java based program which allows you and your friends to chat online and draw together on a canvas. It is completely web based. • Not sure if you have Java?

Don't know if you have java or if your version of it is up to date? Check out the Java website to download the latest version for your computer.

• Why can't I draw on the canvas?

After joining the paintchat, you need to wait a few seconds for your browser to load the drawing log. You will be able to draw once you see the words 'Log received successfuly' in the chat window.

• The drawing log isn't loading/I get a connection failure error.

If you encounter this problem, try to restart your browser or clear its cache. If the problem persists, contact a moderator to reset/clear the server.

• Have a graphics tablet?

PaintChat is able to support pressure sensitivity with the optional Jtablet plugin you can download and install. Once setup, you can enable this feature by clicking the "P" button located on the upper right hand corner of the PaintChat interface.

• How do I use paintchat?! @__@;;

The interface may be a little confusing at first, but once you play around with it enough, it should be quite intuitive. Here is a great Beginner's Guide to help you get started.
